Meet the Practitioner...

Dr. Antoinette Farbrook, DOM

Dr. Antoinette Farbrook is a third-generation acupuncturist. Oriental medical theory and natural healing methods were instilled throughout her life, leading to a natural step of studying and earning a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine (M.S.O.M.) from the Southwest Acupuncture College.  She is nationally board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (Dipl.O.M.) by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and certified as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM) by the state of New Mexico.

Dr. Farbrook’s grandparents and father were trained in Kototama style acupuncture, creating within her an early love and understanding for Japanese acupuncture. This led to her building a solid foundation in Japanese Meridian Therapy throughout her studies. In addition to Dr. Farbrook’s interest in Japanese Meridian Therapy, she has a passion for nutrition, herbs, Tui Na, and pediatric medicine. She has great aspirations to use acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutrition to help people on their journey towards a healthy and happy life.

She is very excited to have the opportunity to utilize her accrued skill set in offering Japanese Meridian treatments to New Mexico’s community at Resonance Medici.

What's in a Name...

Resonance: a phenomenon that occurs when an object or system is subjected to an external force or vibration that matches its natural frequency. When this happens, the object or system absorbs energy from the external force and starts vibrating with a larger amplitude

MediciMedici is the plural of the Italian word medico meaning “medical doctor”.

Whether by acupuncture, handwork, herbal medicine, or nutritional guidance, your practitioner interacts with your healing journey vibrationally, like a musical tuning fork. These modalities guide your body’s frequency back into a harmonious tune.

Asian Medicine has many treatment paths all with the goal of balancing your body.

This balance allows your body to return to homeostasis allowing your system to heal naturally.
